Although every project is different and should be treated as such, the way in which we manage web based projects remains the same across the board:
Define your project, it's goals and objectives
Design your website upon receiving all requirements from you that were outlined from the Define stage
Develop the technical aspecs once the initial Design phase has been signed off
Deliver your project on-time & within budget
Projects usually go outside of budget & timeframe for 1 of two reasons:
1. Little or no time invested in a solid well thought out brief that covers all the websites goals and objectives.
2. Scoop creep, where by new functionality is added part way through or copy changes are made throughout the process.
To help things run as smoothly as possible for you the client and to ensure your project is delivered on-time and within budget we recommend investing substantial time into the initial project brief. It will save you time & money in the long run.
We don't start any projects until all the website copy is complete and signed off on. No exceptions. We are entrprenuers and are highly skilled at working add-hoc for our own projects but when it comes to our clients we're sticklers to this rule.
If you're a fly by your seat type client and want to work as you go, then we're probably not the best fit for you. But if you are looking to develop a well thought out project that exceeds your goals and objectives and are willing to invest some time to make that happen then you've definitely come to the right place.
